The return of the Martians….
Maybe….
Hypothetically that is….
Interest?
I am firing up the album as I type this!
6mm would be an excellent War of the Worlds scale.

I have that album too, creeped me out as a kid. “Uuuuuulllaaaaa!”

That tripod body looks pretty darn good to me! Do it!

I agree with DSG – do it!
As for the music, the remixes, ULLAdubULLA and ULLAdubULLA II are at least as good if not better than the original…

Amd here off the printer are the small flyer and troop transport for them….
Still need wings etc. but the hulls are done.
Impressive!
I’m eagerly awaiting the imminent BBC miniseries, but the mechanical design they’ve previewed for it doesn’t live up to the classic style you’re going for.
And I agree that 6mm would be a great scale to do it in (though I also like the idea of 3mm and 2mm War of the Worlds). I’ve considered it in 15-18mm as there are good Martian war machine models available in that scale range, but the sheer size of it feels less than ideal.
No longer hypothetical, first print assembled. GW epic vehicles for scale…
Woa, looks a lot bigger than the previous images. Truly a big scary machine! Looks like it printed extremely well, even the hoses. What type of printer are you using?

It is the same size as the top image, the 2 smaller ones are to be used as support vehicles.
All I know is it is a resin printer, I know a man who does it for me.
Wonderful!
I’m not at all jealous…
