One of the games played at last month’s meeting of the DWG was a playtest of a set of rules in the making, with a few of the chaps getting together to playtest some ideas for a potential set of Renaissance era rules, loosely referred to as ‘In the Buff’ from the Too Fat Lardies.

I would stress that the rules do not exist formally, but it was fun seeing ideas being tested at the club that will hopefully inform that development.

If you would like to know more about the game then follow the link to the club blog.

Very nice looking game indeed!  I had heard that “In the Buff” was being resurrected, and assumed it would be an cousin of Sharpe Practice, or Infamy, Infamy.  I’m actually glad to hear it seems to be unique and covers more than the ECW.
