Found this on Farcebook Darryl – dated march 13th:
For those not in the know.
NEWSFLASH FROM GLORIOUS AAG TOWER!!!
So, our basement, wherein is the formal offices of AAG Tower, suffered a serious setback.
We’ve lost most of our minis, terrain, workspace etc thanks to a clogged sewer pipe. The workspace is recoverable, in fact has been recovered, but the rest is a painful loss. 🙁
We now have to spend the next couple of weeks staying on top of everything AND making the house entirely liveable again.
Here’s hoping your last two weeks were better than ours!20/03/2018 at 19:04 #86914maggicoParticipant
Really, really sad.
I hope for a better near future for AAG.20/01/2020 at 21:44 #12993227/02/2020 at 12:20 #132307
I am wondering if anyone has ordered from them lately. I am interested in some of the Ambush Alley and Force on Force scenario books(?) listed under their “classic Ambush Alley products” section. But are things shipping? I am loathe to order if this is a dead site. If, on the other hand, they are still making things available while working on an update(?) of their products great. It is just things were going to be released “soon” for years now and their blog and presence here gives little to no confidence. Thank you.27/02/2020 at 12:23 #132308Who Asked This JokerParticipant

Well, probably less poor choice of words then since it was a bit of flooding. I am glad it was something that can be replaced rather than the death of loved ones!
Hope they get back into operation soon!

Asked for info on the AAG classics on their web page, basically the scenario packs. I asked if they were PDFs or print copies. This is also a test to see if they are operational (read still alive).28/03/2020 at 23:05 #13398829/03/2020 at 00:03 #133990
So he is “not” abandoning Ambush Alley Games but going on to other things. I reached out to buy past products using two different sites, one .net and the other .somethingelse which I don’t remember but no answer to either. So much for support and people have gotten bent when I mentioned where the unavailable and unsupported products were to be found.29/03/2020 at 11:00 #133995Thorsten FrankParticipant
That´s quite interesting. Let´s see what he will come up with.

Just listening to the latest SitRep podcast and they mention at some time in the last couple weeks “the designer” for Ambush Alley Games has stated (somewhere?) that there will be no more wargames, Ambush Alley, Force on Force, updates or anything else. They do not mention where they got this info from. I am going to try to contact them on Discord and see where they heard or saw this in order to verify. Bad news but frankly we have seen this coming for many years now.09/02/2021 at 11:41 #150701
Apparently this was available for FB members.
“I’ve been trying to convince myself that this announcement wasn’t necessary, but it is. So I’m going to rip the bandage off and get right to it:
I absolutely do not have the time to continue the development of the new Ambush Alley rules. I’ve taken on a new role in a prominent public safety software corporation that requires most of my time, meaning I need to parcel out what’s left between my family and game development. Any of you who know me well know that family has always come first for me, both for myself and for the people I’ve worked with.
What little game development time I do have, I’d prefer to sink into smaller projects that impact fewer people if it takes me years to finish them.
So what does this mean for you? Well, I’m not going to tell you that this project is on hold. I will not be working on it any further at this time. We will continue to sell our digital products, but we are unlikely to expand the product range under the current circumstances.
I am open to discussions about licensing or purchase of the core AAG system for use by others, but my involvement in such projects would be minimal at best.
I’m sorry for the disappointing news, but I want to shoot straight with you guys. We have awesome customers, many of whom are great personal friends as well. It’s never easy letting my friends down or failing to meet customer expectations.
As always, roll more and roll higher!

This was how they prefaced it. Not being on FB I do not know how posts work.
If you are member of the Ambush Alley Games Group on FB, you’ll find it as a pinned announcement-check the announcement tab.
