Some times I can’t believe how long it takes me to do something. I’ve had an 8×10 war gaming table cloth since c. 1992. Kind of a browny-greeny tee-shirt type material. I finally got around to adding some color to it this past Wednesday during our latest weather related closure. A couple weeks ago I made some river sections, too.
My new paint rack cost me $2.00. It’s the bottom of a shipping box (no doubt from Amazon) cut down to the depth of a craft paint bottle with ‘shelves’ made of corrugated plastic. I saw the sheet of plastic at Michaels and bought it because I thought I ‘might’ find a use for it. Inspiration hit after I bought the plastic. I no longer have to scavenge around in the plastic tub in which I used to store my paints. The shelves aren’t attached to anything. They just lay across the horizontal paint bottles and the whole thing fits perfectly in the cubby hole in the desk hutch. Lots of room to expand upward, too.
