    I like the APC version which is basically the tank without the turret. Any plans for something similar Michael?

    Yes, there is a very strong possibility that whilst talking to Darby about SF3D the idea of me doing 6mm version may have come up!

    Oh man, now I have to get my finances straightened out so I have some extra $$$$. Have been wanting to get some (lots) of your stuff for some time, these hover tanks are just too darned good to pass up.

    So….

    The turrets will be posted to the caster tomorrow.
    The hulls will be put into a mould by me tomorrow and I should have a test cast by Thursday morning to show.

    I wouldn’t dare hope… or would I?

    I know Mike is on record as fairly comprehensively anti-Mecha, but I’m not sure where the line is.

    As these aren’t the standard 50 foot tall stompy mecha and closer to the VOTOMS/Heavy Gear types hopefully “Santa” Mike can do something about it. The other cool thing about these is they aren’t overly armed and not totally overpowering.

    Ha ha, yes I do struggle with the notion of Mechs.
    Big stompy robots I don’t see myself ever making.

    The ones above are possible, if I can find a way to make them fit into my fluff then they are more likely to make it.
    Having said that I said no to hover tanks, and look at me now.. (though cost to make was a factor here)

    Most things are possible if I can believe in them and they are cheap (ish) to make.

    For a bit of info…
    I get a great discount on both my CAD work and printing so my figures reflect that…
    Assuming I make £1.00 on each tank I sell, I need to sell about 200 of them to break even.
    I think I have sold about 50 of the RDF hovertanks in all the time they have been available so don’t hold your breath on any new designs just yet.
    Buildings that I make myself I normally only have to sell about 3 to break even, this is why I have more scenery than vehicles/infantry…

    They look great! When the PA is released as well there will be at least one force, might need 2 so that the Stahl Democratic Republic can fight the Independant Mercenary Army in 6mm as well 🙂
