I like the APC version which is basically the tank without the turret. Any plans for something similar Michael?
12/06/2016 at 08:55 #43249Angel BarracksModeratorThat is so awesome. It is literally a smaller version of Darkest Star Games 15mm SF3D/Ma.K inspired hover-tanks found here
Ha, busted!
Yes, there is a very strong possibility that whilst talking to Darby about SF3D the idea of me doing 6mm version may have come up!I like the APC version which is basically the tank without the turret. Any plans for something similar Michael?
If these sell well enough then more will be coming.

18/06/2016 at 22:36 #43581kid bananasParticipantOh man, now I have to get my finances straightened out so I have some extra $$$$. Have been wanting to get some (lots) of your stuff for some time, these hover tanks are just too darned good to pass up.
20/06/2016 at 20:45 #43625Angel BarracksModerator20/06/2016 at 22:23 #43632Mr. AverageParticipantI christen thee NOT-Rocker. Β Beautiful! With GZG powered armor standing in as Mercenary AFS, do I dare hope for an SAFS? Or a PKA?

I have no idea what they are, link me up sir.
21/06/2016 at 00:40 #43637Mr. AverageParticipantThey’re armored suits from SF3D. For some reason my posts are stuck in “Text” mode so unless I’m coding your site I can’t hot link the images, but still:
21/06/2016 at 08:00 #43642Angel BarracksModerator21/06/2016 at 12:08 #43651Mr. AverageParticipantWell, I certainly HOPE I do!
21/06/2016 at 12:16 #43653Angel BarracksModerator21/06/2016 at 14:34 #43660Mr. AverageParticipant“If thou did’st, thou art the non-pareil!”
As they would say in the Shutoral Demokratische Republik, you have me “Gespannt wie ein fitzebogen.”
23/06/2016 at 00:17 #43730kid bananasParticipantHow about a “not” Krote and “not” Pak Krote, a “not” Jerry/Super Jerry, and a “not” Grief?
23/06/2016 at 01:40 #43731Mr. AverageParticipantI wouldn’t dare hope… or would I?
I know Mike is on record as fairly comprehensively anti-Mecha, but I’m not sure where the line is.
23/06/2016 at 02:53 #43732kid bananasParticipantAs these aren’t the standard 50 foot tall stompy mecha and closer to the VOTOMS/Heavy Gear types hopefully “Santa” Mike can do something about it. The other cool thing about these is they aren’t overly armed and not totally overpowering.
23/06/2016 at 09:31 #43739Angel BarracksModeratorHa ha, yes I do struggle with the notion of Mechs.
Big stompy robots I don’t see myself ever making. The ones above are possible, if I can find a way to make them fit into my fluff then they are more likely to make it.
Having said that I said no to hover tanks, and look at me now.. (though cost to make was a factor here)Most things are possible if I can believe in them and they are cheap (ish) to make.
For a bit of info…
I get a great discount on both my CAD work and printing so my figures reflect that…
Assuming I make Β£1.00 on each tank I sell, I need to sell about 200 of them to break even.
I think I have sold about 50 of the RDF hovertanks in all the time they have been available so don’t hold your breath on any new designs just yet.
Buildings that I make myself I normally only have to sell about 3 to break even, this is why I have more scenery than vehicles/infantry…07/07/2016 at 20:00 #44688Angel BarracksModerator07/07/2016 at 20:23 #44691Alexander WasbergParticipantNeato, looks more than adequate to the task. So when can we expect these beauties to be available?

09/07/2016 at 22:56 #44772Mr. AverageParticipantI can barely contain my enthusiasm for this line, I have to say.Β Those are brilliant paint jobs there!
10/07/2016 at 16:13 #44791NoelParticipantI want them, even though I don’t have a need for them…
10/07/2016 at 19:52 #44793Mr. AverageParticipantWe’re talking about hovertank miniatures, here.Β “Need” is a weak word.
10/07/2016 at 20:49 #44795Alexander WasbergParticipantThey look great! When the PA is released as well there will be at least one force, might need 2 so that the Stahl Democratic Republic can fight the Independant Mercenary Army in 6mm as well π
Did I mention I love Ma.K ? π
