    Hello you all

Just a  little introduction so you know that I exist:

“Khadrin’s Miniatures” is a french brand of miniatures. The first line will be fantasy villagers, adventurers, furniture,  and more …These 1/100th scale miniatures (15-18 mm) are hand sculpted and finely detailed by talented sculptor Shumin and then moulded by Griffin  Moulds JJP Ltd in lead free metal. They will please RPG players, as well as skirmish gamers.  No doubt, they’ll find a place on painters, diorama makers and collector’s shelves too.

If you want to have a look here are my FB page and website (still under construction).

These are just stunning for 15mm, heck they would be great for 25mm.

    06. February 2018
    OFFICIAL LAUNCH

Hi you all, here is a bit of explanation on how I plan to get started. As you may already know, I am new to this business and on a very small and tight budget so I’m going to start slowly to avoid making big mistakes.

I considered for a while using the kickstarter platform but between the “special low price” for backers and the 8-10% for Kickstarter itself, I would have lost quite a lot of money. Money needed to reinvest immediately in sculptor commissions and mould making.

So here is what I’m gonna do. I’m gonna start just with the Wood Elf Villagers Set1 on the 17th of February and I’m going to ask you the full price :

    For France : 11 € + 1,60 € = 12,60 €

    For the EU : 11 € + 2,40 € = 13,40 €

    Rest of the world : 11 € + 2,60 € = 13,60 €

Now, I know that some of you will see the price as quite high but please do consider the quality of the sculpts and details, also the fact that all 8 figurines are in unique poses and you find 7 accessories inthe set (1 potter wheel, 2 chairs, 2 small tables, 1 basket and 1 beehive).

I promise to you first customers that you won’t regret it, please do trust me.

After the wood elves set will follow the Orc Villagers Set 1, then an adventurers pack with 4 adventurers all in foot and mounted versions. You can already start drooling on this one, as my FB profile picture show the mounted version of the dwarf cleric named …. Khadrin how odd !!!

After the adventurer pack, it will be “To infinity… and beyond !!!

A big thank you to you all who are about to give me their trust… and their money ….

11 Euro seems a fair price for this to me.

Hi again people. As I told you before, the official launch will take place on the 17th of February. But I changed a few things, first of all, you can pre-order starting from today but your orders will be shipped only on the 19th of February. This will give me time to make things smoothly as it is all new for me, I hope you’ll understand. The other change is that instead of having only the “WOOD ELF VILLAGERS SET 1”, you’ll be also able to purchase the “ORC VILLAGERS SET 1” from the launch too.

Please spread the word on your forums, blogs, with your friends etc …

Out of curiosity and because it seems to be popular recently. Are you planning on any resin version?

    Thanks you Mike.

Thomaston, I haven’t noticed 15 mm resin being popular myself but I might be wrong, in fact I can’t think of any 15 mm resin in the most popular brands. So no, at this point I don’t plan any resin version. But who knows of what the future is made…

Indeed, I certainly would not try resin for my 15mm.
It is slower to produce figures than a metal spin caster.
More expensive to produce and thus sell, in fact I seem to be seeing a lot of 28mm resin figures at around £10.00 each…
More prone to snapping of weapons and so on.
Plus any miscast resin is a waste, miscast metal goes back in the melting pot to be re-used.

My bad, I thought they were 28mm. These are even more impressive at 15mm.

SPLINTERED LIGHT MINIATURES CROSS THE POND !!!

Hi you all ! I’ve seen many times people saying that they’d love to purchase stuff from SLM but that the shipping costs and taxes were too high. So, “Hear hear”, I’ve been discussing the issue with David McBride from SLM and I’m going to get some of his stuff available on Khadrin’s Miniatures. Being on a small and very tight budget, I’d like to avoid piling up in my store stuff that won’t sell. So in order to both please you people and avoid having a lead hoard here, I will ask you who are interested to get in touch with me either on this website contact page or on my Facebook page by Message. We’ll discuss your order. Once I’ll have enough stuff I’ll make a group order and you’ll find it available on my e shop.

I’m waiting to hear from you …

Hello you all ! Just a small post to explain a few things. Due to its very small size and very tight budget, Khadrin’s Miniatures can’t afford to follow the BLACK FRIDAY and other sales trend. That would just kill me if I did. I am reinvesting every single cent back in new sculpts and molds to beef up my range. So please bear with me and don’t be too disappointed. I am not just a greedy old man. Hopefully I will be able to make nice offers in the future ! Soon you will see in Khadrin’s Miniature range 3 regiments of dwarven troops, clad in chainmail with different helmets and shields, these sturdy warriors will wield hammers, axes and spears ! All between 13 and 14 mm at the top of the head are sculpted by the talented Shumin !

A new pre-ordering campaign for Splintered Light Miniatures will start tomorrow Saturday 24th of November until Sunday 02 of December Midnight !

Oooh I’ve just noticed this thread!

Congratulations Thierry! I never suspected that Dordogne could become a hatching nest for Orcs Elves and Dwarves… but when I think about it I suppose that they’ll like the landscape in your area.

A little update the dwarves are getting close to release, there will be a unit of 6 dwarves wielding axes and a unit of 6 wielding hammers. A few more tests and they’ll be ready hopefully ! The dwarves are 14 mm at the top of the head !

Later will follow dwarven spearmen and a command unit !

If you keep your eyes opened you may also see in the coming weeks/months some bad boys and girls from the Underdark, 17 mm at the top of the head …

    Very cool!!!

Love the look of those dwarves, especially the shields and the spears.

As for the dark elves, that top set is amazing, they could easily pass for 28mm imo.

Could you share a bit of your future plans with us, where do you want to take this line of mini’s.

I was actually thinking of pre-ordering some Splintered light minis from you but to be honest I’ve always thought their sculpts were a bit rough.

Now I think I’d much rather see what you’ll bring us in the future.

    Cheers,

    Stroezie.

Thanks for the praise Stroezie !

To tell you a bit more about my range, at this point I’m expanding my very small line of minis. They’ll be in the good old D&D World of Greyhawk and Forgotten Realms style. I started with villagers and adventurers but in the coming weeks/months I’ll release dwarves troops, drows troops and kobold warband. About the drows, I’ll release first the 2 units of dual wielders and rapier/hand crossbows. Most likely will follow the set of drow officers and depending on the cash a unit of 3 or 5 driders, they should complement the SLM range. I have much more stuff planned, more villagers of course but also some monsters, furniture and dungeon accessories. Being on a very small budget, it’s hard to say what will come after that. If the new releases prove themselves successful, they’ll be much more, that’s all I can say for now.

Cool, I look foreward to seeing all the cool stuff you come up with.

I’m looking to run a Forgotten Realms campaign, set in the Moonshae’s region, somewhere in the beginning of next year.

I plan on using 15mm mini’s and terrain so I’ll be following your releases eagerly.

    Cheers,

    Stroezie.

I was of 2 minds about roundish or square bases. A friend of mine suggested to go for square because, as they are only 1 mm or so thick, it’s easy for those who don’t like them to clip the corners. That’s why, no hidden agenda there

The doors of the dwarven stronghold bang open as dwarves of the Redhammer Clan come forth to face the orcs. It’s time to defend their home “Khur Zedan” and rid the orcs of the Black Skull tribe off the Arian mountain range !
These troops are but the first wave of the “Khadrin’s Miniatures” dwarven range, sculpted by “Shumin” and painted by “Haschatan Sÿx Studio”, these sturdy warriors are 14 mm at the top of the head. If you like them please share !
