Hi everyone, hoping this is the right place to post this as i was pointed in this direction. We have a Kickstarter campaign running at the moment for our line of ‘Space Dwarfs’ that we refer to as Dweorg. We’ve been running for a number of years and producing these miniatures and this is our first foray into the realm of Kickstarter. We’ve been running for 4 days now and it finishes on the 14th September 2016 at 21:00 GMT so there’s still a way to go. If you’re interested then go have a look, you can find the campaign here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gidranminiatures/science-fiction-space-dwarfs-dweorg
Here are some images from the campaign, first up the Kickstarter/show exclusive miniature… Claude.
Here are a couple of the miniatures (under construction) that are up for offer in the campaign.
… and one of the stretch goals that i am personally really looking forward to making.
There are also some other things in the pipeline like our MK III Heavy Battle Robot which we released a concept sketch of the torso earlier on today.
There are loads more things in the pipeline with this Kickstarter and the more people pledge the more we can make. We look forward to seeing some of you over on the campaign and with your help i’m sure that we can make this campaign a success.

It’s the Kickstarter/show exclusive miniature that is going to be cast in resin, they are pressure cast in the workshop. The core sets will be cast in pewter/white metal when they’re finished. We master them in resin first before we send them out to the casters. Glad you like the minis!20/08/2016 at 18:56 #47064
Today we have another update on the progress of the Kickstarter campaign sculpts. The Troll Hunter Heavy Support miniature is on its way to being complete. We decided to add some extra weapons to the miniature with the option to have a missile launcher on the shoulder and a choice between it with a dual heavy laser or lite rail canon. We have also been tidying up the Sona De Snatos miniature and finishing of her right arm with the wrench, which is currently drying on the sculpting queue. The two are from set 1 from the campaign and this will mean that once these two are finished we can move on the next set which will be set 4.
Enjoy these and let us know what you think. Don’t forget you can find the campaign at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gidranminiatures/science-fiction-space-dwarfs-dweorg where you can see updates and everything that we’re offering in our campaign.20/08/2016 at 19:00 #4706520/08/2016 at 19:04 #47066
Thanks… We wanted to keep some consistency through our range so with the concept of the new Battle Robot having it we though it would be a nice addition to the Troll Hunter Heavy Support. We are already thinking of different weapons upgrade we can offer later with it, maybe even during the campaign as mini stretch goals when we start to unlock them.
