I’ve embarked a great re-basing project on my 15mm Williamite War collection.  I thought I’d post my progress here as I go.  The figures are mainly Irregular and Essex with a few from elsewhere.

Above are King James’s Irish Foot Guards and below Kirke’s Lambs.

There are a lot more units on my blog if it’s of interest.

    Lovely looking units there!

Are you using Beneath the Lily Banners rules or did you just want a more beefed up look to the units? They certainly look more like battalions I think, having refreshed my memory of what your earlier set up looked like.

I admire your tenacity in rebasing all these but it was definitely worth it.

Thanks Guy.  Yes, I’m using Beneath the Lily Banners.  Re-basing was certainly worth while in this case.  The look of the thing counts I think.  Lots more to do.

I’ve five English battalions re-based for Beneath the Lily Banners with 6 figures per base and 3 bases per unit.  I like the new look which required me to paint an additional 6 figures a unit.  Luckily this also works for Field of Battle.

If it’s of interest you can see them on my blog along with some poorly armed civilians.  The figures are 15mm from Dixon, Essex and Irregular.

My first five rebased Irish Jacobite battalions are now up on my blog.  As usual for me the figures are from Essex, Irregular with a smattering of Dixon.  Should you want a look here is the link.

My Irish Jacobite infantry are now rebased.  A tedious task and I’m glad it’s done.  The final four battalions are up on my blog.

Should you want to see them here is the link.

    Very nice.

Makes me think of the TV series Derry Girls, which I recently discovered and binged on.

I thought some Grand Alliance units might be of interest.  There’s a mix of Dutch Horse, Dragoons and Foot and a battery of artillery on my blog.  The toys are from Essex, Gladiator and Irregular Miniatures. I think they are quite compatible, even on the same base.

If you would like to see them here is the link.

Seven squadrons of Jacobite cavalry and two of dragoons are up on my blog.  Below O’Neil’s Dragoons and above some old Stronghold figures painted as King James’s Life Guards.

If you want to see the rest here is a link.
