ModeratorSelling 6mm is not going to make you rich, especially when you do skirmish, which means your customers rarely need more than two packs of any infantry.
So I had an idea.
The idea is to have a Limited Edition range which is made of unique 6mm models that you can buy on their own.
They will be spun from the master mould so that will mean they are less readily available, but that will help keep my costs down too.But the question is; how much would you pay for a nice 6mm character model that you can buy on its own?
I am thinking 50p.
Now, 50p is by most standards much more than any other 6mm figure.
But in skirmish land where you may only want that one specific figure, is it really too much?
I mean after all, it is only 50p which is what, a fifth of a cup of coffee? So far I have a nomad wanderer explorer, he has a million backpacks and a big coat with a hood, and he has Riddick style goggles and is carrying a bat.
I am pondering others….

ParticipantI would pay 50p for a nice Napoleon or William the Bastard or Caesar. Basically a guy in charge who looks different from the other Generals/leaders!

This project is well under way, see HERE for details.
Here are some pics though to whet your appetite.

ParticipantHow about some tech types that could be used for repairing the power generators/windmills/solar panel arrays you sell.
How about a rich/swanky dressed dude to represent the owner of the money lending facility. Heck you could make this a pack by itself and have a family/mistress, security guards/body guards, clerks, an armored car to move funds with, a sporty car or even a limo w/driver for the owner.
Cook and waitstaff for the noodle place.
Zippy and Voark for Zippy’s Couriers and Voark’s Place.
Maybe some civic workers and a Mayor/politician type.
Some “Suits” and corporate types to negotiate deals for BPI or otherwise survey possible sites for new development.
A farmer & family to compliment the seed farm.

ParticipantAnother little cracker! Will Joseph get a partner or does he police Stonehaven all on his lonesome?
Oh, and you totally need to call that Bounty Hunter ‘Able Kane’…

ParticipantFifty pee? Fifty pee? That’s ten bob on the old money. When I started wargaming you could get four boxes of Airfix soldiers for ten bob. Mind, they weren’t quite detailed enough even in HO/OO scale to have shirt buttons on them, and nobody could tell you the price of 6mm figures, because 1/300th scale hadn’t been invented yet and everyone thought Minifigs were *mad* when they attempted tanks in 1/300th, never mind individual soldiers.
And now the interweb tells me that penny chews cost dam’ near a shilling each. And the Mars Bar that was 2p on decimalisation now costs 60p (for a smaller bar).
All the best,
John.

ModeratorSteve is a little bit wrong, looks a bit wrong, talks a bit wrong, just generally one those guys that you don’t hang around with if you are on your own.
As such he spends a lot of time roaming around on his own…The next three are also very much PA. Alas my batteries in the camera died, but I will buy some more and upload pics tomorrow.
