I am looking for someone to design STL files for modular science fiction terrian. I have seen dungeon crawl terrain tiles that are only about an inch high.  They provide the impression of walls without making it hard to get to the figures.  n the dungeon crawl ones I have seen, the walls go to full height around doors and other special features.  I would like to do something like that for space ship corridors and rooms.  I would like to use something like Combat Patrol for a Space Hulk like gaming experience.  I know I have the technical knowledge to eventually figure out how to use a CAD package to do it myself, but I don’t have the time.  If you have any pointers, please let me know.

He does 3d stuff and is a RL architect too.

Can do!  I’ve done a few systems of the same sort before, though aimed at injection molding.  For what scale are you thinking?

You may also want to look at Charles Oines, or Irrational Designs, as he is a professional fulltime 3d modeller who can have things done more quickly than part timers like me.

My recommendation would be Hirst Arts moulds… But as I suspect you already have a 3d printer may not be for you.

I am looking at 28mm science fiction, but the nice thing about 3D printing is that it is pretty easy to scale things for different uses.  Bob McKenzie also reached out to me.  I am exploring options (and costs) to see what is feasible.  I will reach out to you directly.
