I have completed my first proper unit for Blucher in 6mm, it’s Maitland’s Guards Brigade.

There’s more pictures on the blog:

Very pretty stuff! I should have shots of my 3mm army up soon!

We get slapped around, but we have a good time!

Very nice!  And this is coming from a dedicated Sci-Fi gamer, too.

The quality of mass and scale you get from smaller sizes is really remarkable, and increases all the time as castings (and paints) get better.  You’ve done wonderful work there!

Thanks guys, yes, I was going to start Napoleonics in 15mm, but I really think that 6mm lends an extra epic quality to the units. As Blucher is Brigade level, this matters even more I think.

Vile mites! This way lies the roaring Hell of Abstractofuscation! Cardboard chits are waiting, just offstage, sniggering quietly.

Lagartija Mike, it may pain you to know that I am actually basing these units on the Blucher 100 Days Campaign card set, I am actually replacing cardboard chits with these ‘vile mites’.
