Completed a few rocky outcrop terrain pieces to go with the desert game mat I made a few weeks ago. I’ve used pine bark as the basis for the rocks and I think it’s a material that works very well at this scale. The core shape was made using insulating foam on an MDF base and the pine bark pieces were glued around it.
The top and sides were filled with household multi-purpose filler and textured with sand and cat litter.
