The Fencibles played a first test of my Marengo scenario last night. This is the battle that gave rise to the dish Chicken Marengo but almost saw Bonaparte’s goose cooked 15 years early. Bloody Big Battles rules are grand tactical, so the table won’t be groaning with figures. Each stand in this game represents 500 troops or 12-18 guns.
