My latest blog entry discusses the 3D model of the Matlida Hedgehog that I created a short time ago, based on Mike Bergman’s lovely model.

Very apt for you David. A tank mounting a naval weapon!

Fantastic, I think it would have scared the bejesus out of anyone. Shame it was never tested in combat. Thank you for sharing.

I had never heard of them before and was actually expecting some sort of tank trap when I clicked on the link.  It’s a lovely bit of modelling and painting.  Great stuff.

First off, great looking model!  That and I had no idea this version of the Matilda existed.  I learned something today!

What do you use to edit these things?  I have been using tinkercad to edit/change a model for ease of printing but have  not done any creating.  I am planning on doing a Rolls Royce armo(u)red car turret suitable for the western desert.  That open topped turret that was prevalent in 1940-41.

I’ve been using Microsoft 3D Builder. It’s fairly basic but with some practice and thought you can create some pretty decent models. I’m currently working on ACW river monitors
