Thanks to a comment by Jim Jackaman on Facebook I have already succumbed to my first distraction that isn’t in “the plan”. I’ve created a set of 1/2400 STL files covering medieval cogs and galleys on 30mm square bases for use with my “Lord of the Sea” medieval rules. I’ve put these up as a free download on Wargame Vault for anyone who is interested. There are ten different bases covering small, medium and large cogs, and galleys.
You can find the models here:

I think you must have the widest and most diverse set of naval wargaming interests of anyone ever.
No wonder you are easily distracted! 😉
“The world turned upside down”
I remember a few years ago that sometimes miniature manufacturers used to offer free simple rules, to help drive sales of their figures. And now rules writers are giving away free miniatures to sell their rules! Who could have predicted that a decade ago?
(And I know that David isn’t giving away the files to sell thousands more of his rules; he’s doing it because he’s a tremendous generous fellow, and is a good example of what I love about this hobby. Thanks David!)
