In issue 491 of Miniature Wargames we have a great selection of rules and periods plus crafting tutorials for all wargamers.

The cover features Command Decision and some Island hopping with a visit to the Pacific in 1943-45.

In Send Three And Fourpence the finale! Mr Kinch fives us part three of a mini solo campaign for Stargrave with a final ship bound scenarios.

After last months guidance on building your own starship crew for the Final Frontier, Venomous Power has Chris Abbey of Sally 4th offer up a scenario for Pulp rules featuring an archaeological adventure!

With The Defence of Duffer’s Drift we present an Anglo-Boer War game and scenario in 20mm.

In Continuous Warfare The Editor gives a show report of the Warfare 2023 show.

In Death from Above it’s Bandits at six o’clock. All day! A WWII air combat outing with rules suggestions.

With Waterloo Arthur Harman suggests another working over of a traditional board game to improve it from a wargamers perspective.

In our Scratch Build section Tony Harwood finishes off a kicks ass scratchbuilt Roman onager.

Last word: We have the Editor dicing with death…

Finally, we have the review sections with Defence in Depth for Figures and rules, plus we have Forward Observer for news and Recce for insightful book reviews.

    Have fun!

They are not real archaeologists – their shoes / boots are way way too clean!

Looks an interesting (eclectic maybe) issue 🙂
