ParticipantEarly start up at 0430 on the road by 0500 arrived at Northleach 0750, breakfast, then all set up by 0920 ready to game the battle of Molwitz.
Mike Richards took on the mantle of the Austrian / French / Tiberian army.
I had printed off written order sheets for each turn, to replace Steves order blocks. Once again using my “On the Hoof” rules. As per normal I will not write a turn by turn account of the game, I will let the photos explain.
It was a great game Mike was a friendly and gentlemanly opponent, the game swung to and fro but having lost my cavalry to a shattering defeat to Mike’s cavalry the writing was on the wall
for the Prussians.More photos on these forums

ParticipantFantastic game. Mollwitz in Grant’s The Wargame was one of the things that completed my addiction to wargaming.
Great to see it fought again here. Lovely figures and a real sense of battle. I forget how much room linear warfare takes up in 25/28/30mm!
Thanks for posting (and the links).

ParticipantLovely photos of your game there and great to see the Spencer Smith figures again. Mike seemed to be having a great time and it certainly moved along at a fair old pace. Just a shame the day whizzed by so quickly as I’m sure we could all have spent many more hours just chewing the cud as it were.

Steve the link to your web says it’s been removed? It was working last week.
