I had a little extra time at lunch today and decided to do some statistical analysis of the morale mechanics in Twilight of the Sun King.
Basically, you can produce similar results with a single D6.

Yeah, that’s the funny thing about rolling two dice of the same type. You will get a classic bell curve for the probabilities every time. D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D20. All will produce the same bell curve on a probability graph. The only difference is the spread of numbers depending on the size of the dice.
I rather like the expanding dice (D4, D6 etc) but for whatever reason, it seems to confound many people.
