I’ve been making up more Lion Rampant units for various periods.
More pics on the blog.

03/10/2017 at 18:09 #73067Graham HarrisonParticipantA nice job! They look like they mean business.
03/10/2017 at 19:37 #73077kyoteblueParticipantSigh….I don’t want to rebase but…
03/10/2017 at 20:52 #73085OBParticipantLooking good.
Bite the bullet KB.

Read my lovely post to you somewhere else on TWW – you can play LR without rebasing! Just be flexible in which way people are facing.
Go on – you know you want to!
(And lovely stuff as always Victoria)
03/10/2017 at 23:10 #73102Victoria DicksonParticipantI’d recommend playing it and then considering rebasing if you like it enough. I was a bit crazy and did it the other way round. 🙂
And thanks for the nice comments everyone. 🙂
04/10/2017 at 12:13 #73141willzParticipantSigh….I don’t want to rebase but…
As I understand the the rules there is no requirement to re-base the rules are flexible enough to allow you this luxury.

Lovely minis! I, like Kyoteblue, have difficulty wrapping my head around round bases for what was often, at least initially, linear warfare but in the melee, I have to admit, it makes eminent good sense.
I love the idea of Biblical and Bronze Age armies depicted in this way. I fancy that deteriorating Nestorian (of Pylos) spear phalanxes, Tojan shield-walls, throngs of Achaean foot, Myrmidons and rabid Thracian hordes will look great as they all struggle pellmell around besieged Troy. Chariots will be cool too clattering around in the midst of the rest of this chaos. Looking forward to your reportage on this bold experiment.
Cheers.
Rod Robertson.
04/10/2017 at 19:02 #73168kyoteblueParticipantYall win, I just order a copy of the rules from my FLGS and should have them sometime in the next two weeks. But Damn it I am not rebasing !!
04/10/2017 at 19:08 #73169Guy FarrishParticipantTo quote a famous headline (but I hope in a much different tone);
GOTCHA!
You have our permission to complain bitterly if you ever feel the need to rebase!
Best wishes with it.

18/10/2017 at 18:56 #74268kyoteblueParticipantCall my FLGS and the rules are in. I’ll go pick them up in the next day or so. More after I read them.
18/10/2017 at 18:58 #74269Victoria DicksonParticipantHope you like them. 🙂
18/10/2017 at 23:12 #74292James MantoParticipantAre those 15mm Victoria?
They’re very nice.
18/10/2017 at 23:14 #74293James MantoParticipantI use my medieval figures based 3 or 4 to a 40mm x 40mm stand for LR all the time
Works for me
18/10/2017 at 23:20 #74295Victoria DicksonParticipantAre those 15mm Victoria? They’re very nice.
Yes, 15mm. I lack the space to use larger figures, I just admire other people’s. 🙂
15/11/2017 at 14:50 #76295Victoria DicksonParticipantSome more units done, mainly rebasing.
Quite a mixed bunch this time , medievals, arabs, Romans and Ancient British. Pics on the blog. 🙂
