    I’ve been making up more Lion Rampant units for various periods.

    More pics on the blog.

    KB – You don’t need to!

    Read my lovely post to you somewhere else on TWW – you can play LR without rebasing! Just be flexible in which way people are facing.

    Go on – you know you want to!

    (And lovely stuff as always Victoria)

    I’d recommend playing it and then considering rebasing if you like it enough.  I was a bit crazy and did it the other way round. 🙂

    And thanks for the nice comments everyone. 🙂

    Sigh….I don’t want to rebase but…

    As I understand the the rules there is no requirement to re-base the rules are flexible enough to allow you this luxury.

    Vicki:

    Lovely minis! I, like Kyoteblue, have difficulty wrapping my head around round bases for what was often, at least initially, linear warfare but in the melee, I have to admit, it makes eminent good sense.

    I love the idea of Biblical and Bronze Age armies depicted in this way. I fancy that deteriorating Nestorian (of Pylos) spear phalanxes, Tojan shield-walls, throngs of Achaean foot, Myrmidons and rabid Thracian hordes will look great as they all struggle pellmell around besieged Troy. Chariots will be cool too clattering around in the midst of the rest of this chaos. Looking forward to your reportage on this bold experiment.

    Cheers.

    Rod Robertson.

    To quote a famous headline (but I hope in a much different tone);

    GOTCHA!

    You have our permission to complain bitterly if you ever feel the need to rebase!

    Best wishes with it.

    Call my FLGS and the rules are in. I’ll go pick them up in the next day or so.  More after I read them.

    @Kyoteblue

    I use my medieval figures based 3 or 4 to a 40mm x 40mm stand for LR all the time

    Works for me

    Yes, 15mm.  I lack the space to use larger figures, I just admire other people’s. 🙂

    Some more units done, mainly rebasing.

    Quite a mixed bunch this time , medievals, arabs, Romans and Ancient British.  Pics on the blog. 🙂
