As you can see things have come to a head faster than you could say “Prince Imperial” in my TWWBK Zulu game.

Lets hope the NNC can save the day for the British Empire.  Though when you find yourself saying that it’s pretty much a Zulu win…

What do you consider the scale to be in this game?  1 figure is 1 man?  Or more like 1:5 or 1:10?  It’s something I’m trying to figure out for myself, with each unit lead by an officer 1:1 doesn’t seem right somehow, making it 1:5 or 1:10 and calling a unit a company has maybe a better feel to it.  Just something I’ve been pondering.

The scale thing is interesting and I suppose it can be anything you want it to be.

In this game I thought in terms of units without considering how many men were in each unit.  That said I didn’t ever think oh there are 12 Zulus in that unit- wargames heresy I guess.  I think it doesn’t matter as far as this bunch of rules go, one figure could represent 100 or ten it won’t impact on how the game plays.

Yeah, I don’t think it changes how the game plays, and I’m probably overthinking it.  The only difference it will make to me is when I get round to doing an AAR, as in what I refer to the units as.  I’ll probably go with them being a company, it just feels the right size somehow.  Plus it makes dreams of doing Isandlwana slightly more realistic.
