Lets hope the NNC can save the day for the British Empire. Though when you find yourself saying that it’s pretty much a Zulu win…
What do you consider the scale to be in this game? 1 figure is 1 man? Or more like 1:5 or 1:10? It’s something I’m trying to figure out for myself, with each unit lead by an officer 1:1 doesn’t seem right somehow, making it 1:5 or 1:10 and calling a unit a company has maybe a better feel to it. Just something I’ve been pondering.27/09/2017 at 17:37 #72508OBParticipant
The scale thing is interesting and I suppose it can be anything you want it to be.
In this game I thought in terms of units without considering how many men were in each unit. That said I didn’t ever think oh there are 12 Zulus in that unit- wargames heresy I guess. I think it doesn’t matter as far as this bunch of rules go, one figure could represent 100 or ten it won’t impact on how the game plays.

Yeah, I don’t think it changes how the game plays, and I’m probably overthinking it. The only difference it will make to me is when I get round to doing an AAR, as in what I refer to the units as. I’ll probably go with them being a company, it just feels the right size somehow. Plus it makes dreams of doing Isandlwana slightly more realistic.
