I get a few emails from museum each month touting this range. I have one question –

do they actually look like that? Has anyone seen them ‘in the flesh’, i mean?

I see what you mean all the other ranges have got photo’s of the cast figures but the Z range is just computer graphic.  It a long way from conception to production?

wow. If they actually look like that it will be a huge turnaround. Museum used to be lovely people making ugly figures 🙂 I can foresee buying these Indians in 15mm in particular – but if I put them on the table all my other armies are suddenly going to look very old hat… and weedy!

    Thanks willz!

I’ve bought some of the hoplites and the new Scythian and Saka and they are pretty much as good as the CGI pics on the site – best 15mm sculpts I have seen. Can’t wait for them to expand the range further.

Ooh, now these look interesting. I’m very tempted to order some to flesh out my swords-and-sorcery project. If they’re the right size, I could scrounge up enough poses from the Greeks, Indians and Sumerians combined for a group of bandits, rabble or ship’s crew, plus a few heroes, plus a few civilians. I’d have to do some conversions to make them look less like three distinctly separate cultures from different time periods, but that’s fine.

Does anyone know what size they are? I get that they’re fairly muscular, but what’s their height?

The photos at the top of the front page seem to be Z series figures. Also, the product page for the Indian Maiden Guard has a photo of the actual miniatures, painted.

Have seen a shot of Greeks next to the Xystron hoplites and they seem close in size but the Z range had bigger shields

    Indian Maiden Guard

Obvious contrarian and passive aggressive old prat, who is taken far too seriously by some and not seriously enough by others.
