Just one more unit to do, but I’m taking a break from them for the moment so thought I’d post up what I’d done so far:

as ever more pics on my blog: https://ablogofwar.blogspot.com/2019/09/15mm-fantasy-viii-humangood-guys.html

I like the colour scheme, seems stoic, if that makes sense?

I like them a lot. Understated colour palette (in a good way, of course), but they’re still visibly fantasy. I can really see them as the backbone of a well-crafted fantasy world, holding somber war councils around iron-band braziers, manning border walls when the orcs are on the warpath, shouting “who goes there?” at rangers returning from the Wildlands… all that good stuff

Lovely figures and paint jobs.  It is a shame that these will never be produced again.  Molds (allegedly) were destroyed when RP license to produce DnD figures expired.  You can still find them on Ebay for a somewhat premium price.  I have a bunch myself.

They do really look the biz!  I too like that “dour” look, like they really mean business rather than being more the flashy-pretty types.

Are these not still available from RPE in their Demonworld line?

Demonworld, while nice figures in their own right are a completely different range.  They do mix pretty well though.  Demonworld is a touch bigger.

I would love to see these in production again.  Just don’t think it will ever happen, at least not in my lifetime. 🙁

thanks guys, it seems I achieved my aims with the overall look

DSG, no sadly they’re long OOP as Joker mentions and as I have heard from other sources the moulds are no more! However the infantry with the plumed helmets  are still available from RPE

That’s a shame about being OOP, I like the look of these and the way you’ve painted them really appealed to me.

Excellent looking force! Shame some of these models are OOP, after seeing yours I would pick them up right away. I got the ones with the plumes but the others look a lot nicer.
