I’m for Heavily Armed Direct Engagement Suits, I think…… Seconding what Mr Average said, these really look like a man in a suit, rather than some overly sprightly ‘handwavium’ powered mecha-thingies…….Nice!

Thanks, they are big and have to be climbed into, but the wearers arms go inside the suits arms, legs in the legs and the rest in the torso.

Will there be some more poses? A couple more would be lovely

Probably not, these cost more than the normal 6mm guys.
Plus, I have concerns that with each one being a traditional sculpt that any differences due to human error will be noticeable, so the more variants the more chance to spot any differences.
Having said that, I may get a support trooper version done at some point.

While I second the notion that more poses would be great, I understand that it might not be viable at this point. But in the future, when Mr Average and myself have bought enough of them, then maybe?? 😉

Very nice! I am going to have to do a purchase soon. Just let the pound go a little lower in comparison to the real….

    My suggestion for an acronym:

Heavy Armored Rapid Deployment Actively Stabilized Suits

We get slapped around, but we have a good time!

What you have looks pretty awesome to start.  Being a one-man show with a traditional sculpting technique, what you have is reasonable.  Besides, you’re providing near-perfect SAFS and Nutrocker analogues, so who am I to complain about any of it?

Yup it is all ’bout the money.
That’s why I can make lots of buildings as they are all done in house, with costs that once I have sold about 3 of a building, I am into profit on it.
Vehicles and or infantry can often need hundreds to be sold before they turn a profit.

Those suits would suit (lol) a mercenary group, or local militia using outdated equipment. They go into my consideration list for what to buy for Starport Scum, or even Horizon Wars.

Completely understand but I thought I’d ask. When might these be available?

Not for a good few weeks.
I don’t have the masters yet, when they arrive I need to figure out how best to base them (if at all) before sending them to Brigade.
Who are both on holiday and very busy..

Hopefully by the end of the month..

Thanks for the prompt feedback Michael. I’m just putting together some thoughts on my demo game for Blast-Tastic and have pencilled these in as a possible force…

Sweet, I will get the official KR 16 stats online once they are released, if you go the official route they will be stupidly powerful.
Kind of like Space Marines were meant to be.

    save of 3+
+2 in HTH which means they have a 50% of never ever losing, as a roll of 4 or more becomes a 6 which can’t be beaten.
Chronically stupid firepower, akin to a vehicle.

Be careful with them, I have not sat down and worked out the stats in full or the points value for that matter, but they will be properly lethal.

I can’t think of any fancy-schmancy names for them, but the new RDF PA suits are absolutely superb. I even think you’ve surpassed the design of the Brigade suits.

Those are the finest 6mm power armour miniatures known to humanity. I want them here, and I want them now.

Not for nothing, but these guys would also work well as Suprheavy Suits at 3mm scale.

They look even better now. Two poses are all we need. Although,  it looks like there is a girl’s head poking over the shoulder.

Man I totally dig these.  They’re going to be… SOMETHING in my order of battle.  Probably Lunar Hoplites.  Maybe ENSPUN Peacemakers…

STATS for the Junker Insurgent hovertanks have been added to the rules page:

    So the power armour guys:
    Heavy
    Assault
    Rapid
    Deployment

    suits.

They will most likely be in packs of 5, so I am thinking a 3/2 split on the poses.
Which way though, 3 standing and 2 firing, or 2 standing and 3 firing?

I would prefer 2 standing and 3 firing, just my 2 cents. 🙂

Well, looks like 3 firing and 2 standing then.

These PA suits look excellent. With a few tweaks, they could be used as mechanics in EVA suits as well. I could imagine them patching up some spaceships in a space dock.

Tank Polo? God, how our gardener hated that game!

Talk to me about SF3D walkers.

I’d love to see both something inspired by the Kröte and also something like these (I know the last isn’t SF3D, but the design is similar)

Those are some of my favorites on legs, but basicly anything in the round/organic shapes of WWI/WWII is a good inspiration for SF3D inspired things 🙂

Smooth and sleek are not words you’d use if you were looking at SF3D styles. Cobbled together is more like it. They have a heavily used look. Asymmetrical, organic forms, with “greeblies” on the surface: sensors, lamps, plates, etc. I think of it as the antithesis of Traveller. If Traveller is an iPhone that can call Europe, SF3D is a rotary phone that can call Mars. Like, if we’d fought World War I with steampunk technology, this is what we’d have used in the Persian Gulf War.

    Aces.
Once the caster has made the production mould I will know the prices and get pre-orders ready on the site.

Hit a mojo wall half way into making this, changed my mind on what it was going to be, now I have no idea…

Is it worth me selling it like this so that people can put their own doors on?

A sort of rough template that people can modify into many different variants?

I don’t know, I think the people interested in buying blank buildings might want to be able to buy the greeblies to put on them to.
The people who don’t mind making their own greeblies are probably fine with making their own buildings. At least thats what I think.
