I’ve taken a break from 6mm today, for a change of pace I thought I’d paint a kit that I assembled 2 years ago, an Armourfast SU-85 with mesh added around the tracks for waffle detail. I can’t remember who makes the stowage or crew figure ๐Ÿ™

I painted this to see if I’d improved at painting since downscaling to 6mm, I’m pleased to say that I have slightly improved.

    C+C welcome

    Waffle detail?

T-34s and their variants had tracks that looked like waffle texture, I.e. Small square holes, the armourfast kit didn’t.

That model looks superb. I have their T34 and StuG. The tracks on the T-34 are their weak point, yours look splendid.
