As I move away from another gaming site who seems to be concerned with implants and other shady, non-gaming topics, and I thought I would try some other gaming sites, this of course being one of them.
I have a few blogs, one covering the 1700s up to the end of the 1800s, with mostly an emphasis on American Wars, the Mexican-American War in particular.

Thanks for the link to your blog.
About 20 years ago, I bought a second hand 6mm unpainted ‘Alamo’ set (with buildings) that I have been meaning to progress. At one point, I was even buying Ospreys (books, not the birds) that seemed relevant. I got the impression that the Mexican army didn’t change hugely between the independence of Texas and the Mexican-American War.
As far as I know, the uniforms did change a bit between the 1836 and 1846 periods, and in 6mm one really would not notice the subtle differences at all! Probably most folks would not know/care even in 15mm. 🙂
