I have shared my blog over in the blogs section as well – please excuse the repeat but VSF is a big chunk of my current hobby time.
To keep the story short, I got back into war gaming through ancients but while doing some steampunk literary research, I discovered that <i>Space 1889</i> was still in production along with the miniatures. As a young lad I had always wanted to get into this system but didn’t have the funds. Now things are different. Rather than throw up a bunch of links I’ll give you one to my most recent efforts back in May when games of IHMN and Soldier’s Companion were had. Please take a look around.

Inspired by Malc Johnston’s sternwheeler for his Liu River and African games, I built a boat.
and I love the story behind it.
hmmmmm, yes I like it also, I may borrow that for my sci-fi games.
They are set in a river valley and I have been after an excuse to make a boat!
