    Under submarines depth charge attacks the submarine player secretly rolls 2 differently colored 6 sided dicefor the effect of the attack. I only see one die being used with no explanation for the second die. Any insight to this rule?

    The red die determines whether the attack is close enough to cause damage (bottom page 39), the white did determines damage (top of page 40)
