ModeratorI am after some decals, pronto.
All I actually need are some numbers about 3 or 4mm in height, just a couple to use on a model.Does anyone know if the I-94 range have any that would suit?

ParticipantGHQ is good for general use. Magister Militum stocks them in the UK I see.

ModeratorCheers, they seem the right size.
The pictures don’t enlarge when you click on them though!
๐Don’t suppose you have a photo of them on any models do you?
Just want to check the fonts, there is plenty of choice there so may as well get some pretty ones.30/05/2016 at 11:54 #42660Not Connard Sage
ParticipantIs Letraset still around? They used to do 3mm high letters and numbers in a variety of fonts and colours.

ParticipantMike:
I just tried to take some photos of some WWII tanks with the decals on them and of a pair of unused sheets. Alas, my I-Pad camera is not up to the task and the photos are poor and out of focus. So, I apologies for being unable to help you any further. Even if I did get good piccies I have no idea how to post them on the arcane interweb so it really was a fool’s errand on my part. I really like the decals that Dom produces but I am still less than capable of applying them well at this point. Sorry for my lack of utility.
Cheers.

No worries, at least you found some the right size, so that is half the battle.
All sorted though now thanks folks.

ParticipantFor future reference, Microscale Railroad decals are what you need – multiple styles, colours and sizes. Although they’re a US product they should be easy enough to source from model railway shops locally. http://www.microscale.com/ or they do mail order.
Cruelly enlarged examples!

Moderatorcrumbs they have a gazillion.
Do you have any codes for the ones you used?

ParticipantFrom memory it was one of these two, certainly it’s Block Gothic script in white. There are different sized fonts on each sheet. http://www.microscale.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=MD&Product_Code=90311&Category_Code=ALPHA
