    Hi guys

    Hi all

The first couple of units from Void Scar Miniatures’ second faction – the Verse Dominion – are available now. These mining slaves turned religious freedom fighters, some would say simple marauders, have set their sights on the Damnya Sector. Few will be able to stand against their righteous zeal as they crusade onwards, eager to bring their ways to the unwashed masses and hunt down their hated enemy and previous masters; the Frontier Guild.

    Vanguard Infantry
The Vanguard are the various militia and tribal fighers drawn together from across Verse Dominion space. When not fighting each other, they unite and push beyound their own worlds in search of conquest and plunder. What they may lack in skill or equipment, they more than make up for with numbers and faith.

This Vanguard Infantry set includes 16 riflemen in eight different poses, together with 4 RPG troopers in two different poses, totalling 20 models.

    Ringleader Command Squad
However, such a rabble needs controlling, which is where the Ringleader Command Squad comes in. The Ringleader himself uses his tribal rank and pure brutishness to order those around him into action. He is accompanied by a Preacher who’s there to remind the Vanguard of their religious convictions and overwhelm their foes in battle in a wave of charging bodies.

Sculpted by Vigilant 3D Art and painted by CB Miniature Painting Studio, these fantastic high-quality resin miniatures are available now from the Void Scar website through the links below. Like all Void Scar Miniatures infantry sets, these are available with or without rectangular bases.

Very cool! I really like the infantry designs. I’m in for a skirmish set to give them a try. What are the actual minis made from? White metal? Resin? I really like the few pathfinders with the closed helmets. More closed helmets please!

I like the way that you started the forces – a few specialists/officers, riflemen, heavy weapons. Too be honest the vehicle designs don’t catch my interest, and we are spoiled by great generic 15mm vehicles already on the market. But those infantry look great, especially the new faction.

My initial thought was that they are not that great for 28mm, OK, but not that amazing, then I read the post properly.
    Hat’s off to you!!

Must resist yet another project…. but they are very nice. The beta rules are free to download and the humans look pretty cool. Might have to dabble in the near future.

Very interesting.  I wonder if they’ll match up well with my Rebel Minis’ “Sahadeen”.

Glad you like the designs! They’re made of resin, and I aim for the highest quality possible, so when your orders arrives I hope you’ll like them. Oh closed helmets huh? Well I have some plans for some special forces units for that faction – maybe they might have enclosed helmets for all their high-tech HUD stuff. Yes this set is a bit of an experiment really to see how folks respond to what I’m doing and what they think of the game as well, with the intention that the Skirmish Set can allow you to explore the rules in a straighforward way. Shame the vehicles don’t quite do it for you, but I’ve got some vehicles on the way specifically for the Verse Dominion, which I can’t wait to share with everyone once there ready (FYI I tend to release previews in the From Ashes Gaming Group on Facebook if you wanna check them out…).

Ha! Yes I’d agree not maybe quite right for 28mm, but hopefully ok for 15mm! I spend a lot of personnal time with the sculpter to make sure they’re just right, and he does a great job (Well I think anyway!) Anyway, as time goes on I’ll have more in the same sort of quality, so watch this space! (Or check out the Void Scar Miniatures Facebook page )

Just remember – ‘reistance is futile’ as per the Borg. Please do check out the rules and tell me what you think (oh, and dabble too!)

Well hopefully as more and more minis come out, your interest will be piqued further! I’m not actually familar with the Sahadeen, I’ll have a look though, could be quite interesting to do a themed force using these mixed together if they go together
