My Kiss Me Hardy gaming aids have received an upgrade with the addition of my brand spanking new Angle of Wind and Angle of Broadside acrylic templates that should add a bit of style to the look of future games and make it a doddle for the players to assess wind bearings and fire solutions.

If you would like to know more and find out how to make a similar upgrade then just follow the link to JJ’s.

Mr. Picky annoyingly suggests it would be better if “quarter” were spelt correctly.

    All the best,

    John.

Possibly not – Quater in die means four times a day (and it is still in current use in medicine) and ‘quater’ as four dates way back (1600s) in general English.

(Way too many archaeology books in this house)

Only issue I have is that I have no idea what ‘Messenger’ is – I assume Fartbook (or what ever it’s called now)…

    Thanks for your comments chaps.

Well these little things can happen and as the last person who was perfect died around 2,000 years ago, I guess there’s no point in worrying about it, especially as the device works perfectly well as intended and given this was a prototype that has now been corrected, which is definitely available to those folks who want one via Steve Habgood on Messenger which is part of Facebook or ‘Fartbook’ depending on your preferred nomenclature.

    Cheers

Those templates do look nice. The compass rose and the ship wind indicator are beautiful.

(And it’s so easy to stare at a word and not see a spelling mistake, especially if you are dyslexic).

    Thank you for highlighting these.

At first I had thought that the template allowed for a much larger angle for rakes, but upon reading having the main mast being included as the limit is brilliant.

"I saw this in a cartoon once, but I'm pretty sure I can do it..."
