I’ve posted on my blog report on a new RPG campaign we’ve started. As with some of my previous campaigns, it uses the Frostgrave/Ghost Archipelago/Rangers of Shadow Deep rules as the base system and is set in the world of Minaria, from the old TSR boardgame Divine Right, which had an amazing amount of world building for a board game. There was a unit in the game that always intrigued me, the Rivermen of the Yando Swamp. I decided to base my game around the Yano Swamp, borrowing heavily from the Louisiana Cajun and Voodoo cultures, with a bit of the “Crick Elves” from the hilarious Not Another D&D Podcast. This game is a black powder fantasy, set about 200 years after my earlier campaigns, in an era of industrial and social revolutions.
