Sadly they are only visual.

And doesn’t fix the long standing problem of bombs and rockets having very small area damage.

In this case several 500lb bombs failed to detonate fuel and ammo trucks even with hits just a few meters way. The trucks were destroyed. But burned slowly.

This is also partly because there is no special damage for fuel and ammo trucks. In game they might as well be a willy’s jeep.
