Had a slow unproductive and rotten year last year, but this year started better and I have built myself a nice 28mm Farmhouse for use from 1300 to present, nice when you can do that.

That’s a very nice building and very well made by the look of it.

Wow, Fredd; that Troy is really impressive. The farmhouse is also looking good.

Those are brave men knocking at our door. Let's go kill them!

🙂 I knock up the odd one from time to time, the farmhouse is now being painted while I am building its companion barn.

I might add those, but as a wargames piece I might not.

Chimney pots would make them unsuitable for medieval stuff if I remember correctly. One of those details I ended up coming across when looking up medieval chimneys for terrain building, trying to find them in the artwork of the time and being surprised at the distinct lack of them.

    Hi Tim,

well the walls are signmakers foamboard (much sturdier stuff than artists foamboard), the half timber is a fret cut from 1mm card and glued on and the roof is artists mounting board with card tiles.

HACME is me when I am making buildings commercially.
