Not sure if this should go in ‘What’s on your painting desk’, ‘Medieval’ or here but here it is for what its worth:

I also suspect I should have cleared the desk a bit and staged the photo better, but I wanted a ‘Viking’/Norse totem for an early medieval game (probably could have put it  in Imaginations or Fantasy to be honest!) so I made one and here it is.

I can’t actually remember now why it seemed important to have this, but now I’ve got it I’m going to have to reinvent a reason pdq!

Looks cool, as is your desk!!!

Looks fine. May I ask which material you used?

Of course – I should have said in the first place!

Its a just piece of wood dowel covered in Green Stuff.

Inspiration is from various pictures of Scandinavian sites (most of which I suspect are modern ‘interpretations’ rather than genuine survivals – given the material and climate conditions – someone will be along to correct me soon!).

    Thanks for the kind comments.

Now – time to tidy the desk I think.

    brilliant! I want one now

Nah! You’ll only have to mess it up again…

Really like it.  Looks like you’re going to have to do some pig raids!
