    Do “operational” rules for sci-fi wargames exist? I mean one stand = one company or battalion equivalent?

    I believe Command Horizen was at this level.  Or you could use 5core Brigade commander

    Strike Legion: Planetary Operations fits that bill.

    You could also do a miniatures version of Dwarf Star’s old Grav Tank. It’s freely available out there!

    What would that mean in terms of combat mechanics? Close combat (i.e. adjacent) only?
