    Probably only useful to those on the Pacific Rim, but I was in the Japanese dollar store, Daiso, tonight.  They stock hwa (flower) palettes – round seven well  ceramics.  I find these ideal for mixing and diluting acrylics and I’ve seen them for $6-7 in art stores.  If I didn’t already have a stack of them, I would have cleared the shelf!

    I will have to check the Daiso stores here in Melbourne
