I had a very pleasant day out with friends attending the first day of PAW, the Plymouth Wargamers regular annual show held in Plymouth, Devon.

Among other things, I have put together a report on the day together with a look at some of the games at the show.

Ooh there are some nice looking games there.
Especially attracted to the Frostgrave and French Indian Wars.

Is the cafe still that tiny little one upstairs that overlooks the main hall?

Yes the cafe is still there. You can see the windows overlooking the main hall in my header picture.

    Dear JJ,

I like to be adopted and attend war game shows with you. I’ll need help with airfare but I’ve had 60 years of humanity training, don’t eat much and I have all my shots.

    Please?

    Hi Chaps,

Thanks for your comments and glad you enjoyed the read.

Jeff – Sorry mate, adoption is not an option, not with two sons, one still at and one just out of university still costing me an arm and a leg. However should you decide to make the trip to Blighty, I’m very happy to advise on any travel plans with regard to the show circuit and if we happen to bump into each other will buy you sandwich and a beer.

    regards all

    JJ
