For my first full game of Lost Battles, I gave the Pharsalus scenario a go, with Pompey’s and Caesar’s legions up against each other. Please see the battle report here, along with a few first impressions of the rules:

Tricky. It is always easier to play from the physical book rather than the kindle. That said, the rules are not long and most of the book is discussion and scenarios and so on. So, as long as you are happy to make yourself a quick QRS, then the Kindle should be fine (as long as it is colour for the maps). If not, or you have a B/W Kindle, get the book.
