So, I’ve been fiddling around with an alternate history where Czechoslovakia doesn’t become Communist after WWII. They remain a non-aligned power (ala Austria) but rebuild their robust defense industry to help make sure it stays that way and also because they tried to arm the world before WWII, why not try again? Over time they become a favorite supplier for nations who need quality military gear with no political strings attached.
What I’m curious about is are there any miniatures available for either the post-war Skoda T40 or T50 projects? I’m envisioning these projects forming the basis for the Czech post-war armored formations and that would also become export favorites. I have not had any luck finding them in any scale though, not surprising given how obscure they are but I’m sure I haven’t looked everywhere.

I wish! It’s a great idea though. I’d love to see manufacturers take risks like this, but completely understand why they don’t. I seem to remember that 20/30 years ago there was a greater willingness to produce planned or hypothetical weaponry – perhaps the market was less competitive.
I’m wondering if I need to dust off my ancient 3D modeling skills and dive into the brave new world of 3D printing…. But yea I’m not surprised; these are obscure projects that never even had metal cut for them. They are awesome looking though! 🙂
