I took advantage of the holiday weekend and really dug into the new Ambush Alley: Boots on the Ground rules. In addition to smoothing out a couple of rules whose rough edges had been irritating me, I also made huge headway on the new unit cost system. Since AA:BOTG is a little more streamlined in some areas than FoF, building a point-cost system is proving to be a lot less difficult. The proof is in the pudding, though, so I won’t know if my balancing act has truly worked out till I’ve tried it out a few times on the table!
Still, I’m pretty pleased with what I feel like was a good day’s work!
