    Red Typhoon by Revolution Games.
Covering the Soviet 1942 Winter counter-offensive in front of Moscow.

An enjoyable game that manages to get quite a bit of nuance into just 5 pages of rules.

I have put a bit of a write-up over on the blog for anyone interested. It plays well solo, which may be a consideration in the present times.

    Very interesting indeed.

The folks at Revolution Games (not to be confused with Revolution Software, who produce computer games) certainly seem to have some interesting products. I have only had one order of five games from them, but there wasn’t a bad one in the lot, and Ie Shima — complete with a counter for Ernie Pyle — is a little jewel.

    All the best,

I bought this game last year and have had a great time soloing it. Classic wargaming fun!

We get slapped around, but we have a good time!
