Regiment Languedoc done for the war of Spanish succession. Two battalions, a total of 82 figures at roughly 1:12 scale. Since all my battalions will be 41 figure big, the actual scale for the infantry will vary between 1:12 and about 1:15, but since these are for, Beneath the little banners, the scale has no bearing on the game, I just like to keep track of it. Languedoc’s only major battle in the War was Blenheim were most of it was killed, wounded or captured. In the previous war, it had seen several major battles, and its 2nd battalion would see most of the major actions and campaigns in North America during the Seven years war.
I’ve added a fake 3rd rank, with just a few NCO’s and the drummers.
I’m now working on an English battalion, and the new allied figures are even better than the French ones, with improvement to detail, particularly the crossbelt on the back.
A fine selection of excellently painted figures, thanks for posting.
Superb work Sir!
I love the big battalions, Truls! What figures are these, please?
please
Van dyck 10mm.
Amazing figures, so far only French infantry available, but I managed to get some allied infantry from him too.
