    Relying on your technology

    You have to defend the frontiers of civilisation when the locals have developed their own counters to your technological superiority

    I must admit I was a bit puzzled by the photo in your post here, but all was revealed!  (And wondering if perhaps my old Epic flying Tyranid things might be more  visually aggressive and alien than a mere raptor).

    Seems like a fun scenario!

    Fun is the idea. And you can lift the hawk/flying tyranid out of the scenario and drop it straight into any other rule set 🙂

    Their commander is not called Sjoerd Hoogendoorn or Ben de Keijzer by any chance?

    Saying that though – its nice to see animals other than horse / camel / bantha etc being used for a scenario.

    Yes I felt that there were more to animals than just draught 🙂
