Over on Must Contain Minis, I gave a vortex mixer a try. It worked great! Below is my review.

Useful review, thanks
Interesting review but you can get a nail polish shaker that does much the same for a third of the price and I’m having to weigh up the cost of getting that compared to the use I’d get out of it.
If you have the cash and paint often enough to justify it then it sounds like a useful device but well out of my price range … besides I need all the exercise I can get. 🙂

Thanks Silent Invader. I am happy that you found the review helpful.
thanks for the comment Mike! Best of luck to you however you shake up your paints!

What’s the advantage over simply shaking the bottle yourself?
I purchased this vortex mixer for ÂŁ15.22 from Aliexpress – delivered in less than 10 days. Does the job very nicely.

Awesome deal from Aliexpress. Wow! Phil, the advantage is faster mixing times and not having to wear out your arm. If you find shaking annoying, you will like this. If not, then it likely isn’t the right method or product for you.
it also mixes army painter paints better than I do by hand alone.
