The old Minifigs Sword and Sorcery range has always had a charm to it and I had a few as part of my Fantasy Armies that in the 80s were my Warhammer chaps. I am using the old Royal Armies of the Hyborian age as a general guide and my use the rules, although converting the % system to figures.

Anyone else out there done similar?

As they are done they will appear on Tales from the Wargames Shed on FB and consolidated reports here.

Got those rules back in the day along with ‘Citadel’. The Minifigs range is slowly being re-released… I recently sent Dave a bunch of the ones he can’t find the molds for. Good old nostalgia 🙂

The message I got from Caliver was they had quite a few molds to search through, but that they should have the full range somewhere!

I liked the Garrison Hyboria range as well.  Or at least I liked some of it.  The standard of the sculpts was pretty variable but the good ones painted up very well. Unfortunately it is now out of production: http://www.miniatures-workshop.com/lostminiswiki/index.php?title=Sword_and_Sorcery

Yes, it would actually be my preferred option as I have a few units, but as you say it is sadly gone!

New chaps at the back, stuff needing stripping at the front, painted in the 70s! Used some Alexander Nevski horse.

Love the look of those en-masse. Any chance you might give us some close-ups, so we can better see what they look like individually? Whether you do or don’t, you have an amazing collection!

    Nick,

Any chance you could fill any gaps on the Lost Minis WIKI?

First lot of Zamporians done, in the rule book they are in white with red trim and red shields with white Crescents, with the guard in red with metal shields, but have done one unit using green not red.

Not wanting to sound like a D, should that be Zamorians?
