Hey all, i find it seems crass to post my few and far between painting projects (personal) on my commission site, but i have to take a little break sometimes or i go mad. I caught up this afternoon on some kitbashes i’ve been planning for “city guard” models for rpg games so i thought i’d share them here while i work on them, i may post more rpg miniature projects as i go. The models are from the free sprue on wargames illustrated last year, greek hoplites i think. I decided to go for a dakr blue since i have a fresh can i just used for the french flames of war army i just completed. I used wood elf archer arms to add a few long range models.

    UPDATES!

I do so love painting for my personal collection, i can dispense perfectionism for a rough and ready approach. I went for a mixed skin tone unit, as i try ot encorperate as many tones as possible into my fantasy models, and i really enjoyed these so far. I have some black lining to do on the lot, and maybe some silver highlights.
