Someone in a hive asked if any Russian hussars retained the mirliton? The answer is yes, the shako was issued on term, so some of the regiments would not have gotten it immediately. The Izyum is illustrated with the mirliton on campaign, although that regiment did not make it to Austerlitz. This is actually on my page:
http://zaotlichiye.net63.net/allfacings.html although buried in footnote (currently) 119. Maybe I need to move it.

    Thanks for noting this Jon!
