I’m specifically looking for what Russian cavalry was present on the south bank (left bank) of the river.

For infantry it appears Dokhturov’s VI Infantry Corps, the 3rd Infantry Division from Tuchkov’s III Infantry Corps, and 4th Infantry Division from Baggovut’s II Infantry Corps.

The narratives I have note the Russian cavalry present included dragoons and cossacks but nothing about the what units or what parent formations they were from.

Anyone able to help fill in the blanks?

    Cheers,

    The Bandit
