I would like to announce a major long term project I am undertaking for the 2018-2023 period. The theme is the Greek-Turkish War of 1919-1922. The project includes both academic and hobby elements. Academically I will seek to compile an edited volume for the centenary of the war. Hobby wise there are two elements. First an attempt at creating boardgame for war based on the engine developed by Tim Taylor in To the Last Man!. Second a scenario supplement for Bloody Big Battles (but with information to permit it to be adapted to other systems).

Sounds ambitious !!
Good for you Konstantinos. I don’t know nearly enough about that conflict although I’m aware of its fall out. Keep us posted as you progress.

Good luck with this project, Konstantinos. The immediate aftermath of the Great War is a sorely neglected period. I recently finished reading Ottoman Endgame by Sean McMeekin so this conflict ranks high in my field of interest right now. Your posts (both here and elsewhere) are always informative and I look forward to learning from your research.

Thank you all. We will see how it goes.
