In preparation for more Crom games I’ve decided to build a small fantasy town tile.  I ordered some prepainted buildings a while ago and was disappointed by the casting and the paint job.  Having just finished some Japanese rural buildings I thought I would save some money and try my best.  The entire thing is scratchbuilt which is new for me.

    With paint:

I have 1 more small cottage to build.

These are great. How many of these are you making?

What are the trash paper flying around made of?

    Probably 2 more cottages.

I just printed some old school manuscript pages.

Finished 2 more buildings, a cottage and a blacksmith hut.  These were fun to build.  All are made with different types of cardboard and paint.

Nice work, I was worried a scale shot with a figure would see them as quite small, seems not!

    😀

    Wow those look really good!

    Very inspirational.

    Are those Lego chimneys?

Someday I’d like to do something similar in 6mm.(amongst all the other stuff…)

    Cheers,

    stroezie.

This looks good. For some reason I like the two smaller buildings more. 10mm is so big.

These looks great, did you have some sort of template of is it all just by eye?

Just my eye.  You’ll notice that I tried to use straight pieces as much as possible.  As the buildings are rustic it looks okay if I make a mistake.  A slow drying glue helps if you have to move things around.
